About Me

Hi, I'm Samantha.

New Yorker turned Las Vegas local, wife, and mom of four. I have one boy and three girls ranging from 1 to 10 years old, and life in our house is never boring.

Before I became a mom I was a toddler teacher, which is probably why I approach parenting the way I do, with a lot of patience, a lot of creativity, and a healthy sense of humor. Writing and reading have always been my other great loves, which is exactly how The Vegas Mom was born.

What is The Vegas Mom?

This blog is for anyone raising a family in Las Vegas, anyone who loves this city, and anyone who just wants real honest content about food, travel, and everyday family life. I'm not here to make things look perfect. I'm here to make things feel relatable.

Las Vegas gets a reputation as a city that isn't built for families. I've made it my mission to prove otherwise. From hidden gem restaurants to family friendly attractions, local events to travel adventures, I share it all here.

Why the blog matters more than ever

I recently lost my Instagram account. Years of memories, connections, and content, gone overnight. It was a gut punch. But it was also a reminder that social media platforms can disappear at any time. This blog is home base. It always has been, and it always will be.

If you want to make sure you never miss anything, the best thing you can do is subscribe to my email list below. That's the one place no algorithm can touch.

Beyond the blog

My husband David and I also run Slots to Seas, our family travel YouTube channel where we document our adventures as a family of six. If you love watching families explore the world together, come find us over there.

I'm also a licensed travel agent specializing in family travel. If you're dreaming of a vacation but don't know where to start, I'd love to help you plan it. Reach out through the contact page and let's talk!

Let's be friends.

I'm so glad you're here. Whether you're a Vegas local, a visitor, or just a mom somewhere out there trying to figure it all out, you're in the right place.
