    Creating a Homeschool Pre-K Schedule

When deciding the what to do for DJ starting Pre-K we decided to homeschool. I’m a stay at home mom, and I used to be a preschool teacher. It was an easy choice. The hardest thing for me was to figure out a schedule to follow. Creating a homeschool Pre-K schedule took a little bit of planning. I wanted to figure out the right amount of time to teach. Children’s Book of the Week: ABC See, Hear, Do: Learn to Read 55 Words

I decided to look for things to get for our house to help us stay more organized that I will be able to use every year. A great place to look for items to stay organized with is Wayfair. I compiled a list of my 6 must have items from Wayfair for staying organized during back to school season. These are the items I foresee…

Why We Don’t Limit Screen Time

In the parenting world whether or not to limit screen time is a hard decision. Before we had DJ, we never really thought of it. Honestly, I don’t think David or I thought about whether or not to do it until after Brooklyn. Why We Don’t Limit Screen Time After Brooklyn was born I quickly realized that it wasn’t easy to keep a toddler happy and give him my full attention, while also taking care of a newborn. I wasn’t trying to rely completely on TV shows or the iPad, but it was definitely a big help in keeping DJ happy and calm. A big thing that I noticed is…
