A Weekend at the Westgate Las Vegas Resort & Casino

  My family and I recently spent a weekend at the Westgate Resort and Casino here in Las Vegas. I was nervous at first with everything going on. However, after I saw their WestgateCARES program I knew we’d be safe staying. Honestly, we needed a good Vegas staycation. It’s been several anxiety filled months. We definitely needed a weekend getaway.

We stayed in a two bedroom hotel room. In addition, the room had a nice size desk facing the window, and a fridge already inside the room.

I think my favorite part of the room was the bathroom. The shower had a rain shower head. It was heavenly to take a shower. In addition, the shower floor was a pebble like tile. It felt so relaxing to take a shower.

The room as a whole made for a great staycation. When we were downstairs in the casino area I saw someone with giant “backpacks” filled with sanitizing solution. He was making sure everything was sanitized. In addition, when we walked into the resort out temperatures were taken before being allowed inside.

The only thing we didn’t get to do that we hoped to do was going to the pool. I’ve heard great things about their pool. Unfortunately, Brooklyn needed to get stitches a two days before our staycation. That meant no pool for our family. My husband’s favorite place at the Westgate is their sports book called the SuperBook. I believe it is the largest sports book in Las Vegas, and it’s smoke free.

We had a great weekend at the Westgate, and I highly recommend checking it out as an option for your next staycation or vacation.
