    Mini Cupcake Tin Lava Cakes

One of my absolute favorite desserts to have at a restaurant is a lava cake. I really wanted to try to make them at home, but I knew how much of a mess it would be for my little ones to eat. After thinking about it for a little while, I came up with the idea for mini cupcake tin lava cakes. Luckily, they came out exactly as I hope they would. They had that delicious lava cake flavor and center, but it was so tiny there wasn’t too much ooze and mess. One thing I loved was how easy it was to make these lava cakes. The whole process…

Ethel M’s Cactus Garden Holiday Lights

One of my favorite places to go see every year since we moved to Las Vegas is Ethel M’s Cactus Garden holiday lights. It is one of my favorite holiday tradition that we started together. I love that we bring our little ones now too. It is so  beautiful to see their eyes light up in awe at all the beautiful lights. The Cactus Garden is open to the public for free all year round, but from November 6 to January 6 they light up the entire garden with Christmas lights. The garden opens every day at 8 am, but the lights don’t go on until the sun goes down. During…

Usually I only make the original kind, but this year I want to change it up. I decided to make peppermint hot cocoa muddy buddies. I think I’m going to make a bunch more to put in cute little bags for David’s coworkers.   Peppermint Hot Cocoa Muddy Buddies The first thing I did was add the Chex into a large bowl.  Next, I put both the chocolate chips and peppermint chunks into a microwave safe bowl. I melted them…

Now that fall has arrived it’s time my baking hits high gear. I was really wanting to making brownies, because for some reason this is the hardest thing for me to master still. However, I wanted to incorporate a little bit of fall flavor into my brownies. Which is how I came up with brownies with salted caramel drizzle. Disclaimer: This post contains affiliate links. Graham Cracker Toffee

I’ve been in a rut recently, and decided to make a special treat for my family as a thank you for everything they do. Even my little ones do more for me than they even realize. I decided to break out my Great American Home Baking book and find something that was easy & sweet. I decided on the Graham Cracker Toffee. Of course I had to edit the recipe slightly to how I wanted to make it. It was a hit though! It definitely is sweet, so I hope you have a sweet tooth. First things first, I gathered all my ingredients. The only thing I didn’t gather was the water.…
