3 Free Things to do this Summer in Las Vegas with Kids
Summer has arrived here in Las Vegas. School is out. The weather is already hot. It can get pretty expensive trying to take your kids out to all these different places. I wanted to help you out by finding some free places to go this summer in Las Vegas with kids. After some research I broke it down to my top three places. I’ve technically only been to one of these places. I plan to go to the other two this summer though!
3 Free Things to do this Summer in Las Vegas with Kids
1 Town Square
Town Square is amazing. It’s essentially an outdoor shopping mall. The great thing about Town Square is that they have a few things to do for free with you kids! They have an awesome splash pad and playground that I love taking my little ones to, a maze, and during the summers they do free movies on the green.
The Children’s Park (where the playground, splash park, and maze are located) is open Monday through Thursday from 10 am to 8:30 pm, Friday and Saturday 10 am to 9:30 pm, and Sunday 10 am to 7:30 pm.
Movies on the green are every Thursday night at sundown. There is no movie July 4th. Admission is free, and seating is on a first come first serve basis. Arrive early for activities of the kids.
Movie Schedule:
June 20: Hotel Transylvania 3: Summer Vacation
June 27: Mary Poppins Returns
July 11: The Lego Movie 2
July 18: How to Train Your Dragon: The Hidden World
2 McKee Ranch Foundation
McKee Ranch is open for free during daylight hours. You can feed the animals for free, but be sure to bring your own carrots and crackers! I can’t wait to take DJ and Brooklyn this summer. We live fairly close, and I know they will love it. In addition, you can also request hayrides and pony rides a fee. McKee Ranch is located at 8982 Dean Martin Dr, Las Vegas NV, 89139.
3 Circus Circus
I’ve spoken about Circus Circus before on a post about things to do on the Las Vegas Strip with kids. There is a wide variety of things to do that you’ll have to pay for. For instance, the adventure dome and splash zone. However, there is one free things to do at Circus Circus. There is free circus acts every day starts at 11:30 am. You can find a complete schedule here.
Have you ever been to any of these places? Do you think you’ll go in the future?
