2019 Holiday Gift Guide for 4-5 Year Olds
We’re rounding up our first week of gift guides with my 2019 holiday gift guide for 4-5 year olds. I’m not planning on doing any older ages, because I don’t have any children older than four. One thing I would like to mention before getting into this gift guide is that experiences make amazing gifts at this age. Experiences make great gifts for older kids as well. In addition, there are so many other great ideas for this age. I wanted to narrow it down to ten for all of you. Disclaimer: This post contains affiliate links. 2019 Holiday Gift Guide for 2-3 Year Olds
I’m back for my second gift guide of the year! I forgot how much fun making these are. This is my 2019 holiday gift guide for 2-3 year olds. I think this might be my favorite age group to make. Brooklyn is two, three in January, DJ just turned four in August, and I taught two year olds. I feel like this age is my jam. However, I have a feeling I will like the 4-5 year old gift guide as well. I hope you find some awesome gift ideas from this gift guide. 1 LeapFrog Spin and Sing Alphabet Zoo $19.99 I feel like not only would this keep a…

2019 Holiday Gift Guide for 0-1 Year Olds
It’s officially that time of year again! Time for holiday gift guides. Last year my gift guides were part of Blogmas, but this year I wanted to get them up early enough to be useful. I’m starting it off with my 2019 holiday gift guide for 0-1 year olds. This was actually my trickiest guide, because they’re so little. However, after a bit of searching I think I found a few good ones. In all honesty, I asked one of my mom groups for some ideas too. A big thank you to them! This post contains affiliate links. I’ve been gone for a while. I was prepping for family road trip and vacation. We’re still on vacation, and getting ready to head back home. I’m back now though with another book of the week. This week’s book was sent to me by a local Las Vegas author. In fact I was sent all four book in The 1950s Adventures of Pete and Carol Ann. Creating a Homeschool Pre-K Schedule
When deciding the what to do for DJ starting Pre-K we decided to homeschool. I’m a stay at home mom, and I used to be a preschool teacher. It was an easy choice. The hardest thing for me was to figure out a schedule to follow. Creating a homeschool Pre-K schedule took a little bit of planning. I wanted to figure out the right amount of time to teach. Another thing I needed to figure out was what to focus on. DJ is pretty up to speed with everything. The only thing he really needs to work on learning to write and read. So that is there first thing I…

Children’s Book of the Week: Charlie and the Cheesemonster by Justin C. H. Birch
I’m back with another book of the week. I took a break, because I really wanted to wait until I had a physical book to share. I do love sharing books that we read from Kindle Unlimited; however, I thought I should get back to sharing physical books. This week’s book is Charlie and the Cheesemonster written by Justin C. H. Birch and illustrated by Sharon Harmer. The best part is I ended up getting this book for only one dollar at Dollar Tree. I found it while we were getting a few things for DJ’s birthday party, and fell in love with the illustrations. It was the final gift…

10 Fall Outfits for Toddlers
We are approaching my favorite time of the year. The time of the year where the weather cools down, the leaves changes colors, and everyone breaks out their hoodies. At least that’s what happens if you don’t live in Las Vegas. Here we will still be wearing summer clothes until the end of November. Growing up in New York it’s easy to imagine a real fall though. It always was my favorite time of the year. I compiled a list of 10 fall outfits for toddlers to get me in the fall spirit. So even if I can’t feel a real fall I can pretend by buying these outfits while…

DJ’s Fourth Birthday Party!
DJ’s fourth birthday was on August 28th, and his party was the 31st! He wanted a Super Mario themed party, and that is exactly what we gave him. This party is probably the first party we didn’t do any DIY for, and it was kind of nice. It wasn’t a huge party, because DJ still isn’t in school yet. It was a fun party though, and I know DJ had a great time. We made homemade pizza, chicken nuggets, and mac & cheese. We went to Party City for all of the supplies. They had everything Mario! The store by my house was out of helium so they made us…
