Should We Have Another Baby?
Is it okay to have more than two kids? I won’t lie to you I have always wanted a big family. There was a point in time where I wanted five kids. That is definitely not the plan anymore. However, I do really want another child. That would make three children in total. David goes back and forth between wanting another baby. The real question is should we have another baby? The thing that gets to me is how everyone has decided for me that I’m done. People love to say, “You have a boy and a girl! How perfect! Now you’re done.” Excuse me? I understand that people don’t mean…

Father’s Day Footsteps Craft
With Father’s Day this weekend I wanted to make sure the kids got their gift for David done. I wanted to do something we haven’t done yet before. However, I wanted it to be something that showing their age for the future. After thinking for a little I remember a craft we did back when I was a preschool teacher. It was a Father’s Day footsteps craft. We took an adult male’s show and traced it. We had the students cut it out, and then step on the cut out show print with their painted foot. 5 Tips for Two Under Two
As a graduate of the two under two club, I wanted to help other parents out there that will be joining the two under two club soon. Honestly, I remember being so nervous before Brooklyn was born. DJ was only 17 months old when Brooklyn was born. It turns out I had nothing to worry about. Was it exhausting? Absolutely, but I love that I had them so close together. I’m sharing my 5 tips for two under two with you all. Truthfully, there is a lot more than five; however, these were the most important five for my sanity. This post contains affiliate links. I may earn a small commission…

5 Items for Your Baby in the Winter
One of the hardest seasons for me when DJ & Brooklyn were babies was the winter. It was a bit easier with DJ to transition, because he was a summer baby born on a sunny 106 degree day. Brooklyn on the other had is a winter baby, and was born on a rainy 48 degree day. In Vegas that’s almost as cold as it gets normally. I found that there is only a handful of items that I needed specifically for the winter. Of course, if you live in a much colder area you might need more than I do. I came up with a list of 5 items for…

Easy Fall Wreath Craft for Toddlers
Fall is my favorite season, even more so now that I live in Las Vegas. The only thing that I don’t like is that there are no beautiful trees or falling leaves. I try to compensate by buying fake leaves and decorating with them. One way I wanted to use the fake leaves to decorate is by having DJ make a wreath with them. I made this to be an easy fall wreath craft for toddlers. That way any of you can easily do this too. If you want to make this as well you can use fake or real leaves if you have them. My Top Three Baby Registries
When I was pregnant with both DJ and Brooklyn I used Babies R Us for my registry. Unfortunately, they closed down and I can’t recommend them like I used to. I thought it would be a good idea to research different baby registries that were out there. This way when someone inevitably asks me which one I recommend I can let them know. I narrowed it down to my top three baby registries for you. I’m going to give you the benefits of these registries along with any cons there may be, but to be honest I can’t see any cons about a registry. Disclaimer: This post contains affiliate links.…

My Most Used Baby Products
I remember when I was pregnant with DJ, I would search for hours every day to make sure I had every single item I needed. We bought all of the must have items. I will be totally honest when I say that I bought way too much. When I was pregnant with Brooklyn I bought a few more things. I’ll admit that I may have a shopping problem. I’ve compiled quite a few lists to help new parents from making the same mistakes as me. This list isn’t area specific though. This is my most used baby products in general. Remember that just because these products worked for me, they…

Bath Time Essentials For Baby
I remember the first time I gave each of my little ones their first bath. It was so terrifying. I think the thought of giving such a small tiny human a bath while holding their heads up and making sure you don’t get water in their faces is a bit nerve-wracking. One thing that helped me is making sure that I had all of the bath time essentials for baby ready and in reach. It is important to remember not to fully submerge your baby until after their umbilical cord completely falls off. I created a list of bath time essentials to help you out to help make this less…

Summer Infant Digital Touchscreen Monitor | Review
Review: Summer Infant Digital Touchscreen Monitor It’s crazy to think that our family never had a baby monitor until after my son was two. We didn’t really think we needed one since both of the little ones has their cribs in our room. The only times we sometimes wished we did was when we had friend over after bedtime, and we didn’t want to keep the door open and risk waking them. Right before our wedding this past October our neighbor was moving. She asked us if we wanted a baby monitor she has found while packing, and it was never opened. It was the Summer Infant digital touchscreen monitor.…

When you are pregnant with your first baby, and you need to make a registry, it can be extremely overwhelming. I decided to make a list of my 10 newborn must haves.
